Mozhgan Beheshtifar is a Persian Canadian contemporary visual artist whose practice spans painting and drawing. Working primarily in acrylic, graphite, charcoal, and mixed media, she creates expressive figurative works that explore memory, identity, emotion, resilience, and the quiet moments that shape our shared human experience .
Rather than illustrating specific narratives, she invites viewers into spaces of reflection where gesture, light, and atmosphere become carriers of emotion. Whether portraying children, adults, or intimate human relationships, her work seeks to reveal the unspoken stories that connect us across time and experience.
Her work has been exhibited in Canada, the United States, and the United Kingdom through juried and curated exhibitions, including the Federation of Canadian Artists (FCA), NOMA Gallery, Las Laguna Art Gallery, The Philadelphia Sketch Club, and The Foundry Contemporary.
To me, art is more than an image—it is empathy made visible.
